NEW!

This breakout board provides four 3V/5V level translation channels specifically designed for Open-drain and Push-Pull applications. This is typically used for interfacing with Inter-Integrated Circuit (known as IIC, I2C, or TWI) peripherals. The 14-pin level shifter chip is mounted on a carrier and plugs into a standard 0.6" wide DIP socket.

Features:

  • enables 3V open-drain peripherals to be used in 5V systems
  • plugs into any standard solderless breadboard
  • can be plugged into a standard 0.6" wide DIP socket
  • end-to-end stackable
  • gold-plated 0.025" square-pin terminations
  • based on Texas Instruments TXS0104E open-drain level-shifter chip
  • bi-directional operation without need for direction pin
  • 20 Mbps to 100 Mbps throughput, depending on chip, and voltage differential
  • direct one-to-one pin-numbering
