  Implementing an Ethernet connection on a solderless breadboard or prototyping board is usually very difficult to accomplish, due to non-standard pin-spacing of typical RJ45 jacks, and the requirement for closely-coupled RF components. This adapter was designed to solve those problems by bringing the connections to a 0.1" grid and implementing a BelFuse MagJack that includes the integrated magnetics, as well as two activity LEDs. What's more, it's "end-on" design with a narrow DIP spacing (0.3") uses minimum real estate on your breadboard, and supports network cable entry from the end rather than the side.
